SUMMER HOLIDAYS

Last summer I went to Roncesvalles where my father and I started our St. James' Way by bike. It is the really long route but it is very beautiful. You pass through towns and cities, plains... where people treat you very well. You can see many types of villages in some of them there are few houses. They are rural people but in the capital cities they are not.
The weather was rather variable in the first part of the route it was sunny and hot but when we arrived at Galicia the weather was rainy and cold because there are more mountains. The food is scarce because you ride all day on the bike and you haven’t got time to eat, but we weren’t hungry because sometimes we stopped to eat a sandwich. The St. James’ Way is extremely crowded, you find many kind of people and some of them on foot, too.
The best prize is when you arrive at the St. James square and you see the huge cathedral and you get the “Compostela” that is the pilgrim card. It is a really good experience if you like to have an adventure.
